22/07 Opening Exhibition: NYC Postcard ShowJoin us for the opening of the Blue Goat Gallery in Berlin with an amazing exhibition straight from New York in cooperation with the Con Artist Collective.
Two Berlin art lovers on a mission to show great street art from all around the world. Art is happiness. Art is fun. Art needs to make its way into Berlin living rooms. We want to show affordable art. Choose what you like, not what you should like. Street art is easy, creative, bold, cool. We want to change the way people see and experience art. People have to enjoy it, not be experts. People have to like the colors, the style, the motive, not the name of the artist and his worth. Get rid of that Ikea picture all of your friends have too, get something unique and support great artists. This is our mission! Our first exhibition is the NYC postcard show, in collaboration with the Con Artist Collective. 50 artists, 100 pieces, everything €20. Art should be affordable. Art must travel. Support international artists. |
19/08 Opening Exhibition: Andrea Cook // Pussy PowerSince debuting at the Museum of Sex in 2015 in NYC, PUSSY POWER has been spreading and it is coming to the Blue Goat Gallery from the 18th to the 27th of August.
This will be the first gallery show in Berlin since street artist Andrea Cook launched the global Pussy Power Tour in France during the 2016 US presidential election. Cook is taking over the media, painting and pasting the streets and rebranding PUSSY as something to be adored and respected - not shamed, criticized and hated. From a 20-year entrepreneurial career in technology and communications that began in Chicago, Cook evolved into a visual artist and is passionately convicted to make street art that creates women empowerment for real social change. As a changeologist, Cook has a large body of work on change that has been showcased in hundreds of shows and venues throughout the country. Wallpaper Magazine "cherry-picked" PUSSY POWER as one of the “finest works” from the Art on Paper show during its Art Basel review in 2015. Since then, PUSSY POWER has grown into a body of work of over 1000 pieces, now in collector’s homes and the streets in cities all over the world. |
